In the summer it gets hot so a lot of guys cut it all off but in the winter they grow it back.

yes! very! especially the long beachy shaggy look! not too long but not a buzz cut! kinda long and shaay kinda rough looking but not bum looking!

Well personally i think it depends on who the man or boy is ~ because it may look nice on some but not on others
Not hair band kind of long hair, but hairstyles that are kind of throwbacks to 1965 are (';I Wanna Hold Your Hand'; hair, not ';The Ballad of John and Yoko'; kind of hair)

It is, but those who had nothing but crew cuts five years ago, or especially some who shaved their heads, will find it hard to grow their hair out to look very natural. Crew cuts and head shaving five years ago dried out their oil glands in their hair follicles, and those don't get replenished. So, that's why, a lot of the longer hair on men does look a little choppy.
Yes, it has been for a while. Mostly popular among teenagers in rock bands or skater boys with the side bangs as well. Most of it is very choppy and not properly cut.
