I'm sorry to say, but as a manager, I definitely reconsider males who walk in with long hair. It looks very unprofessional and lazy, and this also tends to follow personalities and work ethics.
If you want a good job, then you'll have to deal with the fact that you will probably have to work at it, which means cutting your hair, buying nicer clothing, and showing self confidence in every aspect from the inside out.
dude i have pretty long hair right now and i think about this question to,if its a small job like as a waiter of cashier or something i think you don't have to do anything.But if its a really good job like as like an a economist for a major bank or something i would definitely cut your hair short thats what I'm going to do.
in this job market you need to present your in the best possible manner. cut your hair, get the job and then judge whether they allow longer hair and/or pony tails

I'd strongly advice against wax unless you know the beauty studio you go to are experienced and professional. A friend of mine nearly died of wax burns when he trusted himself into the hands of charlatans.

I'm a man and I shave my underarm hair, because I believe that it's disgusting to let it grow. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gay...
Although I always use an antiperspirant and I have a shower twice a day, I sweat when I let the hair grow up.

I have hair that's just past my shoulders and I've gotten to where I have to straighten it because it's extremely ****** up in the mornings.

Answer: Praise be to Allaah and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger and his family and companions. There is nothing wrong with changing the hair colour to anything except black, or using something to straighten curly hair, and the ruling is the same for old men and young men, so long as harmful substances are avoided and the material used is pure and permissible. But changing the hair to pure black is not permitted, for men or for women, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Change this grey hair, but avoid black.”
And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (5/168)Is dying hair for men haram?
It is only Haram to try to be like (or better said want to be like) the opposite sex.
It is Haram for you to want to be like a girl. If dying your hair falls into this category I'm not sure, but I would think not. It is discouraged to dye your hair unnatural colors.
